The Digital Care Hub team are excited to announce that we will be raising money for the incredible work of The Care Workers Charity (CWC).
There are 1.5 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
For the UK’s care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.
The Care Workers Charity’s mission is to advance the financial, professional and mental wellbeing of social care workers by making grants, signposting to resources and providing access to services.
Since 2020 the CWS have been able to support over 12,100 care workers in need and we would love to be able to help them support more.
On 20th September Claire, Katie and Rhianna are going to (hopefully!) climb the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire (Pen-y-ghent (694m/2,276 ft), Whernside (736m/2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m/2,372 ft)) to raise money for this amazing Charity.
